LIVERY
A large group of Icelandic horse owners keep their horses at grass livery at Windy Gowl Farm. People meet on a regular basis and enjoy their horses in different ways - there is something for everyone. Please note - any native breeds are welcome to come and join the Icelandics at Windy Gowl Farm.
	We are lucky to have direct access into the wild beautiful countryside of the Pentland Hills where there is unlimited off-road riding. And the views are quite breathtaking! On rainy days, riders make use of the indoor arena or they may organise a course or some games for fun. This being a working farm with Red Angus cattle and Icelandic sheep, there is always something going on and life is exciting and busy.
We will check your horse for you on a daily basis and look after it when you are on holiday. We are always happy to help out or give advice if necessary. We have the benefit of a weekly farrier and we will bring in and put out your horse if it requires shod.
